Lucas Meachem will star as the title role in Don Giovanni for 6 performances at the Chicago Lyric Opera. He will be replacing Russian bass Ildar Abdrazakhov. The production is of Robert Falls and James Gaffigan will conduct. Lucas has previously sung the role at Dresden Semperoper, Santa Fe Opera, San Francisco Opera, and Cincinnati Opera. Opening night is November 14th.
