Britten’s War Requiem, with its power and poignance, was the opening selection for Grafenegg’s highly acclaimed classical music festival. Set in the Austrian countryside, the concert featured Lucas in his debut as the baritone soloist, alongisde Christian Elsner and Anna Samuil. Yutaka Sado conducted the Tonkunstler Orchestra. The performance was nationally televised.
