For the annual red carpet event at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City, the Viennese Opera Ball 2019 included operatic performances by Lucas Meachem, Nadine Sierra, Rihab Chaieb, Javier Camarena, and Ferruccio Furlanetto. The live performances were broadcast to millions of viewers on Austrian Television on February 11th. Lucas Meachem sang “Largo al factotum” from Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia as a Guest of Honor.
